Falkor is a fantastic blue water cruiser.
We have owned Falkor since October 2020 and as a crew of 2 we have sailed her from the UK to Croatia. We have improved, added to and maintained her throughout our journey. Due to a change in family circumstances, she is now available for sale. Falkor is a proven ocean crossing, blue water cruiser ready for a new adventure. Falkor is registered on the UK small ships register and she's EU VAT paid. She was originally imported into Spain before she was moved to the UK.
Falkor has been lifted and is in a yard near Rijeka Croatia. If you are a perspective buyer and would like Falkor in a different location within the Mediterranean, we are happy to discuss this with you.

44' Caribbean Sailing Yacht designed by Frank Hamlin & Peter Schmitt and built in Florida in 1978 is an over engineered, solid blue water cruiser with a deep, spacious and safe centre cockpit. Whether you're planning adventures around the Mediterranean or have bigger ocean crossings planned, this CSY 44 cutter rig has a combination of safety and traditional style with this particular boat coming equipped with an array of additional features.
The CSY 44 walk over evolved from a desire to build a better charter boat, hard to break, easy to care for, more liveable at anchor and more responsive under sail with a really classic standout look. The CSY 44 turned out to be a ruggedly built mid-cockpit cutter. She has a bulletproof rub rail and a keel and ballast arrangement designed to handle a grounding.
The designers set out to create a big boat with lots of room below, plenty of waterline length and a good amount of volume for tankage, storage and the headroom at 6'4''. The underbody, characterized by a cut-away forefoot, longish keel and skeg-hung rudder, affords plenty of directional stability.
The CSY 44 is included in Cruising World‘s list of the 40 Best Sailboats of All Time
