Tengah is a good example of the popular Birchwood 22 river and estuary cruiser very suitable as a first time or family boat or to downsize. Ideal for fun day outings or holiday river cruises and the convenient size of the boat makes river handling manageable and it is relatively economical to operate. Located on the River Thames at Kingston but the mooring is not included in the sale.
Built in 1982 by Birchwood Boats International Ltd and purchased from Walton Bridge Marine by the present owner in 2006 the boat has been in regular but limited use over a period of 18 years and is now being sold to be replaced by a smaller day boat. The Volvo Penta AQ145A inboard petrol engine with out-drive was fully rebuilt by Swaymar engineering in 2016/7 and the hull was cleaned and anti-fouled by River Marine in 2023.
